Welcome to our Ridgeback home
We are a South-African / Flemish family living in the heart of nature, together with three Ridgebacks who are part of our daily life and at the centre of our hearts.
We love a slow life, close to nature, and this mindset also guides how we care for the health, wellbeing, and nutrition of our dogs.
After a long search for a breed that would truly suit our lifestyle, we chose Ridgebacks above any other.
We wanted a purebred dog — intelligent, loyal, and protective — capable of forming a deep bond with us, without being a slave-dog, and above all safe with our children. We found all of that… and so much more.
This is our very first litter, welcomed with love and devotion. The health and recovery of our female always come first: the puppies are not seen as a core financial activity for us, but rather part of the natural rhythm of our home.
Both parents have been checked for hereditary diseases. The puppies will be dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped before leaving for their new homes.
The adoption price reflects the care and attention they have received, as well as the fact that both parents come from a pure bloodline.
Adult Ridgebacks are loyal and protective, each with their own personality.
They need daily exercise — about 1 to 2 hours a day — and can settle quietly while you do other things, but they are not made to be left alone all day long. When well socialized, they are gentle, attentive, and capable of surprising emotional intelligence.
These are exactly the values we want to pass on to our puppies: little beings who are happy, curious, and balanced, ready to build a strong bond with you, to become a true part of your family, and to grow up safely alongside your children.
We endeavour to do this through careful early socialization and enrichment. From their very first weeks, the pups are raised in the heart of our family: they grow up alongside our children and our cats, and they regularly meet other people. They enjoy daily play, early potty training, and plenty of interaction with the adult dogs.
This is where their journey begins: they start to learn boundaries, how to read body language, and how to respond to gentle correction. In short, we lay the foundation that makes it easier for their future families to continue building good manners and strong relationships. From the adult dogs they also gain confidence, pack manners, and the basic social skills that will stay with them for life.
We keep a close eye on their individual development, helping each one grow into a well-adjusted, resilient companion.
